Hello,
To pay tribute to women affected by ovarian cancer, I am riding my bike across Canada, raising funds in memory of Dianne Pope. I am hoping to help in the fight to ignite change for ovarian cancer.
My sister, Dianne, passed away on May 20th 2026 from this disease. It is often referred to as the Silent Killer because, as in my sister’s case, the symptoms can easily be mistaken for other conditions, leading to delays in detection and treatment until it is too late.
According to Ovarian Cancer Canada, "Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer. We know that ovarian cancer remains the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada and of the 3,000 women diagnosed annually more than half will not live 5 years past diagnosis. But we are on the cusp of breakthroughs that can change that."
I am asking you to help by supporting my fundraising efforts with a donation.

Barry Woods
