By fundraising in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, we are honouring the life and memory of Antonia, who passed away on May 26th, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
This event is a tribute to her strength, resilience, and the impact she had on everyone who knew and loved her. Antonia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her husband Dan, her children Vlad, Dan, and Sylvia, her brother Paul, and her niece and nephew Diana and Alec. Her love, warmth, and unwavering strength touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
This event also stands in support of all women and families currently facing ovarian cancer, and in remembrance of those we have lost far too soon.
Proceeds from this event will support Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC), the only national charity dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer. OCC is driving critical research, advocating for better care and earlier detection, and providing education and support programs for women and families affected by this disease.
Every year, thousands of Canadian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and more than half will not survive beyond five years after diagnosis. But with continued research, awareness, and support, there is hope for better outcomes and life-saving breakthroughs.
Please consider supporting this event with a donation in Antonia’s memory. Together, we can help create a future where no woman has to lose her life to ovarian cancer.
