Five Years Without You. Forever In Our Hearts
Five years have passed since we said goodbye to our beloved Carol Lee, and not a day goes by that her presence isn’t felt in the lives of those who loved her most. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, kindness, and boundless love continue to guide us, shape us, and comfort us.
Carol Lee is forever loved and dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Ron McInnis, their daughter Lindsay (Wade), and cherished grandchildren George and Freya—the lights of her life. Born in Charlottetown on December 27, 1956, Carol Lee grew into a woman whose gracious spirit touched everyone lucky enough to cross her path.
By fundraising in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, I am standing hand-in-hand with the people experiencing, affected by, or at risk of the disease. And we will not rest until women are able to live their lives freely, fully, and uninhibited by ovarian cancer.
Proceeds support OCC, the only national charity dedicated to eradicating this disease. OCC is improving outcomes and changing the face of this disease – for good. And your donations will fuel vital research, advocacy efforts, and education and support programs.
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer. We know that ovarian cancer remains the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada and of the 3,000 women diagnosed annually more than half will not live 5 years past diagnosis. But we are on the cusp of breakthroughs that can change that.
You can help ignite change. Please support this event with a generous donation.
