John and Cecelia Arthur Ovarian Cancer Research Fund

In memory of Cecelia Arthur,  this tribute honours a lasting commitment to a future free from ovarian cancer.

Through the generosity of family, friends, and supporters, more than $73,000 has been raised in support of ovarian cancer research through the John and Cecelia Arthur Research Fund. 

This remarkable generosity is a meaningful way to honour a life while helping create hope for the many people affected by this disease.

Ovarian Cancer Canada stands hand-in-hand with people experiencing, affected by, or at risk of ovarian cancer. Together, we can work toward a future where women can live their lives freely, fully, and uninhibited by ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer remains the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Each year, thousands of women are diagnosed, and too many families experience the loss and uncertainty that comes with this disease. Yet, we are on the cusp of breakthroughs that have the potential to change the future.
