I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada a fundraising event in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2025 and i'm currently in treatment. I want to bring awareness to this silent disease which could happen to any women. I will be walking in honor of Ashley as well as my sister Julie who also lost her battle to this silent disease.
This year, I will walk to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised will power vital research that can change the face of this disease, provide support and education programs to those who need them most, and fuel advocacy efforts across the country.
Please join me in this event to improve the outcomes for those affected by ovarian cancer and together we will transform lives.
