Spin for a Cause
In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. Each of these women is central to a family, every one of these women have people who love her. This year, I am fundraising for HER.
I am fundraising because ovarian cancer affects communities. It’s certainly touched my life, and it needs to be stopped.
As most of you know my mother has been battling ovarian cancer for the past 5 years. While her journey has had its share of highs and lows, she has never given up on fighting this awful disease. In honour of my mother, I am organizing a charity spin ride to benefit Ovarian Cancer Canada.
This event is special to me because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope that I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Join me on Sunday November 12 at 2:00 p.m. for a beat spin class with Lauren Kaplan at Victoria Park.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
Please support my event by giving generously.
