"Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?"

This year team Rainbow Connection is walking in honour of Suzanne Morin. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, cousin, aunt, and friend who died on June 20th 2023 after battling ovarian cancer for two and a half years. She is so deeply missed. May she walk beside us in spirit as we walk with her memory in our hearts.

We are participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised at the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada will power vital research that can change the face of this disease, provide support and education programs to those who need them most, and fuel advocacy efforts across the country. 

This community of Vankleek Hill has rallied together every year in honour of Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who lost her life to ovarian cancer at age 33 in 2018. Ashley's family and friends are committed to keeping Ashley's legacy alive and are determined to improve outcomes for those affected by the disease. They will be participating alongside us.
