I'm very fortunate to be able to participate again this year in in the Beau's 5K, a fundraising event in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada in honor of Ashley Courtois (Cowan).
Since I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last January 2025, I went through chemo and I'm currently on a maintenance treatment. It was a difficult year and we got through it. The good news is that everything is clear as of today!!
I'm so happy to be here today and I want to bring awareness to this silent disease which could happen to any women. I will be walking in honour of Ashley as well as my sister Julie who also lost her battle 18 years ago.
You're welcome to join me and my family in person at Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada in Vankleek Hill on June 20. You can walk, run, bike or do it virtually.
Let's improve the outcomes for those affected by ovarian cancer and together we will transform lives.
