The Canadian Universities Jiu-Jitsu Association and House of Combat are proud to present Roll for Research, a women-only open mat in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.

This event will bring women from across the jiu-jitsu community together for an afternoon of training, connection, and collective support for an important cause. Women from all academies, affiliations, and experience levels are welcome to participate, meet new training partners, and share the mats in a positive and welcoming environment.

Ovarian cancer affects thousands of Canadians and their families, making continued research, awareness, and community support essential. Roll for Research gives the jiu-jitsu community an opportunity to come together and use the sport as a platform for meaningful impact beyond the mats.

This initiative reflects CUJA’s commitment to making jiu-jitsu more accessible, creating greater opportunities for women in the sport, strengthening connections between academies, and supporting causes that matter to the broader community.
