Six local businesswomen - Kaleigh Anderson, Brittany Bird (Totality Therapies), Karen Jay, Ashley Lougheed (Girl Time Inc), Kerry Morrison (Morrison Pumpkin Farm), and Jess Robichaud (Turbo Sports) – are going big at the Run for Her, and beyond! This dynamic team will be hiking all 31 km on September 27, in preparation for a 38 km Rim 2 Rim challenge at Zion National Park on October 18.
Each driven by their own personal connection to the cause, they are challenging themselves both emotionally and physically to honour the women in their lives.
Fundraising goal = $3,100, to represent the 3,100 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer every year in Canada. 100% of funds raised go to Ovarian Cancer Canada.
