This June, I'm bustin' out the teal and participating in Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada. Why?
Because survival rates for ovarian cancer have not improved in the last 50 years.
In this time, we've experienced a global pandemic, seen 47 models of iPhone, Y2K, the rise (and fall) of skinny jeans, the end of the Cold War, the discovery of the Higgs boson, and so much more.
Yet this cancer continues to be diagnosed late, and has no reliable screening test or vaccine.
Funds raised will power vital research that can change the face of this disease, provide support and education programs to those who need them most, and fuel advocacy efforts across the country.
This community has rallied together every year in honour of Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who lost her life to ovarian cancer at age 33. Ashley's family and friends are committed to keeping Ashley's legacy alive and are determined to improve outcomes for those affected by ovarian cancer. They will be participating alongside me, and together we will transform lives.
Join us to ignite change, we can’t do this alone. Please donate to support me.
Thank you for your generous support.
