On June 21st, I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada, a fundraising event in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
This year, I will lace up my running shoes and run (ack!) to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised will power vital research that can change the face of this disease, provide support and education programs to those who need them most, and fuel advocacy efforts across the country.
This community has rallied together every year in honour of Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who lost her life to ovarian cancer at age 33.
My best friend Suzanne Morin fought so hard to beat this insidious disease. There were so many things we didn’t get to do together and I’ll do all that I can to help find a cure.
Join us to ignite change; we can’t do this alone. Please donate to Team Rainbow Connection to support me.
Thank you for your generous support.
