February 2025, for the Hollybrook ladies golfers, is associated with Women's Health. A festive and engaged month in support of the fight against ovarian and breast cancers.

Located in Florida, the Hollybrook golf and tennis facility brings together many golfers. All ladies playing in the Guest-Member Tournament on Tuesday, February 18, and the ones participating in the regular Tuesday groups on February 25 join forces for women's health, while having fun and playing a sport they love. They are encouraged to make a donation to the cause of their choice—ovarian cancer, breast cancer, or both. Their donations will help support research, education, and give hope for a cure. 

Every woman is affected by cancer, whether she has faced it personally or it has impacted a family member, friend, or acquaintance. Understanding these cancers and knowing how to prevent or detect them early can save the lives of our mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, friends, etc.

Ovarian Cancer Canada

Ovarian Cancer Canada is the only national organization dedicated to eradicating this disease. Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer. We know that ovarian cancer remains the deadliest cancer for women in Canada, and more than half of the 3,000 women diagnosed each year will not survive beyond five years. But we are on the brink of breakthroughs that could change the game.
