This year, I'm asking for something for my birthday- your support.
Recently, my mom, Angela, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Watching someone you love face this fight is overwhelming, to say the least, and one of the hardest parts has been realizing how little awareness, research, and lack of screening this disease receives.
Every dollar raised goes directly to Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national organization dedicated to changing the face of this disease.
This is for my Ma- and for the thousands of others whose lives have been changed by ovarian cancer. They deserve better, and I want to be part of making that happen.
