I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada, a fundraising event in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada. This year is the 10th anniversary of the run.

On June 8th, I will run to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised will power vital research that can change the face of this disease, provide support and education programs to those who need them most, and fuel advocacy efforts across the country. 

This community has rallied together every year for the past ten years in honour of Ashley Courtois (Cowan) who lost her life to ovarian cancer at age 33. Ashley's family and friends are committed to keeping Ashley's legacy alive and are determined to improve outcomes for those affected by ovarian cancer. I will be participating alongside them, and together we will transform lives.
