For the very first time, the Hollybrook Women Golf Association (HWGA) is hosting its Invited Members Tournament 2025 for women's health. A festive and engaged day in support of the fight against ovarian and breast cancers.
Located in Florida, the Hollybrook golf and tennis facility brings together golfers from Quebec, Canada, and the United States. On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, 144 players, members, and invited guests will join forces for women’s health while having fun and practicing a sport they enjoy. They will be encouraged to make a donation to the cause of their choice—ovarian cancer, breast cancer, or both. Their donations will help support research, education, and assistance efforts.
Breast and ovarian cancers are among the most common cancers affecting women. Understanding these cancers and knowing how to prevent or detect them early can save the lives of our mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, friends, etc. Every woman is affected by cancer, whether she has faced it personally or it has impacted a family member, friend, or acquaintance.
Ovarian Cancer Canada
Ovarian Cancer Canada is the only national organization dedicated to eradicating this disease. Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer. We know that ovarian cancer remains the deadliest cancer for women in Canada, and more than half of the 3,000 women diagnosed each year will not survive beyond five years. But we are on the brink of breakthroughs that could change the game.
Let’s join forces for women’s health. Thank you in advance for your donation.
