Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 3,000 will be diagnosed this year.
"In July 2018, I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. One month later, at the end of my recovery from the surgery, I received my diagnosis of ovarian cancer. I went into survival mode, pushing forward to do what was needed to get better. I was so lucky to have had early detection. 4 months after the first operation I underwent a radical hysterectomy. Fear and uncertainty follow with each check up... I am now 5 years cancer free. I was truly blessed to have discovered this when I did, many don't have the same luxury. Knowing that I was sick before the illness took hold gave me the upper hand. We need more research on ovarian cancer, we must never give up."
To honour women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrate the hope that she carries with her every day – the hope for a future without this disease, I am organizing this fundraising event and invite you to support this cause close to my heart.
In loving memory of Dagmar and Cecile.

Funds raised support Ovarian Cancer Canada, the Canadian charity championing the health and wellbeing of women with ovarian cancer and those at risk for the disease, while advancing research to save lives. Funds will help further scientific progress, advocacy efforts and support programs.
Please support this event with a generous donation. Together we can help women live fuller, better and longer lives.
