We are a team of scientist (and friends) from the Cancer Therapeutics Program at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Many of us work each day to study ovarian cancer, identify new biomarkers for earlier detection, and develop new therapeutics to provide more options for those fighting this disease.

On July 8th, we will run to raise funds to advance progress against ovarian cancer – the most fatal women’s cancer in Canada. Funds raised at the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada will be used to fund vital research that can change the face of this disease, support those living with the disease, provide support and education programs and fuel advocacy efforts across the country.

As ovarian cancer researchers, we are extremely grateful for the support from Ovarian Cancer Canada and everyone involved in this event. These funds have directly supported our work, allowing us to pursue cutting edge research that we hope can make a difference.
