On July 8th, I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada, a fundraising walk and run in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer. 

My neighbour and dear friend Aleta and I have been training a couch-to-5k plan over the past 2 months and this will be our first race EVER!
