Hello! I am Rose!
On July 8th, I am participating in the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada, a fundraising walk, run and cycle, to support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer.
- Approximately 3,000 Canadians are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year.
- Five Canadians are lost to the disease every day.
- One out of every two people diagnosed with this disease isn’t expected to live to see another five years.
The funds we raise for Ovarian Cancer Canada help champion the health and wellbeing of women living with and at risk of the disease, while advancing research to save lives. Funds raised through the Beau's 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada will help change outcomes for ovarian cancer by accelerating research progress, providing vital support and education resources and fuelling advocacy efforts.
