Cardio for Chemo!
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
Before this year, that number was just a statistic but now it means more.
My dear friend, Afshan, has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
This Monday, September 16th, she begins her first cheomotherapy treatment, from 10-4am.
People always joke that they'd rather do anything but cardio, and I argue that they'd rather do cardio than be getting chemotherapy.
To show soladarity with her, and help raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer, I will be at Prime Studio, 429 St. Laurent Blvd. doing cardio for the whole duration of her treatment, for six hours.
You can show support by visiting me at the studio, and providing encouragement as well as by donating financially towards reasearch and programs that support women affected by this disease.
All donors will receive a custom button designed by Afshan herself as becomming a member of "Afshan's Army"
Please support this event through visiting Prime Studio Monday, September 17th between 10-4, through donating to Ovarian Cancer Canada as well as through sharing the event on your socials, spread the word to increase the support we show to Afshan and all women and families affected by ovarian cancer.
THANK YOU for your support!
