Hair of Hope 2017:

8 years ago, this world lost one of the most beautiful people I have had ever known.

Debbie Sitzer was one of my closest friend’s mom and through my childhood, became like a Mother to me as well. Even with her hands full with her 5 children, she would always have this beautiful angelic smile! No matter what was going on in your life, just by staring at her, you knew everything was going to be alright. She may have passed away, but she will forever be in mine and other people’s hearts.

The pain of losing someone dear to us can be great, but I refuse to just leave it at that. There are still more women who are fighting this battle with ovarian cancer, who need our help and support. This is why I have decided that it is time to give back.

Stef (Debbie's daughter) and I will be holding this fundraiser to raise money ($1000.00) before Oct 2,2017 to donate to Ovarian Cancer Canada. We want to show support to all the mother’s, daughters, women, and families that are currently facing or will face this terrible disease.

But we won’t be stopping there…

I've been growing my hair for the last time and once we reach our goal, Stef will be cutting off my hair again. If you watched the last time you are not going to want to miss this one (which will be videoed again for the world to see!) We will be donating to a wonderful campaign called ‘Pantene beautiful lengths.’

It takes 4 locks (donations) to make one wig- so if you have extra locks to spare, then join me in giving someone a wonderful gift for the New year - one that will help make such a difference in their life.
