- Accessibility: Walk is primarily paved, but becomes compacted sand/gravel around the 2km mark

- Starting on the boardwalk in front of the Naval Canopy (gazebo, east side of the park by the Waterfront Hotel), we walk west towards the hospital. We stay on the waterfront pathway and turn around at the 2.5 km mark near the lift bridge.
- There are many free parking options on Sundays in the downtown area including municipal lots, garages, and on-street parking. For the most up-to-date information and an interactive map, please see the City of Burlington's website. A common option is The Waterfront Parking Garage on 414 Locust St. which is close to the park and free of charge on Sundays. Fees are required to park at the Waterfront Hotel or the lot by the Spencer Smith playground.
