Rob LeRoy - We Have Hope
This will be our 16th year participating in the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope in memory of my late wife Kimberly.
Additionally, my step mother Faye, after battling this disease for over 2 years, passed in 2021.
Both Kimberly and Faye faced this disease head on, showing tremendous courage, while still living life to the fullest.
Kimberly passed away after a courageous 4 year battle. She was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer at just 28 years old. Despite regular check-ups, including one just 2 months before her diagnosis, her cancer went undetected for nearly 3 years. The Walk of Hope is dedicated to helping early detection techniques and each year the money raised is reducing the number of late stage diagnoses.
This is a cause that Kimberly felt very strongly about and she personally raised over $20,000.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
Please support my Walk by giving generously.
