Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. Being a survivor of this disease I know how devastating this can be. This could be your wife, daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, best friend ;the list goes on and on. Cancer does not discriminate !!
Ovarian Cancer is considered the most serious women's cancer. The symptons are often generic, there is no routine screening procedure and the cancer is often detected in the later stages.
By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
