Ruth's Girls Walk for Awareness
Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. It's time to accelerate progress against ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and I’m determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.
Our mom Ruth was diagnosed November 18, 2020 and she passed December 2, 2020. We did not even have her biopsy results back, she did not even get a chance to fight. This needs to end!
Before Mom’s diagnosis, I did not know that Pap tests DO NOT detect Ovarian Cancer. Please learn the symptoms. The average age a women is diagnosed is 63, the exact age mom was.
