In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. Twenty-six years ago, I was one of those women. I consider myself blessed to be a survivor. 

Our Walk of Hope is happening on Sunday, September 8. We need your help more than ever. Our ultimate goal is to support important research to erase this disease, the most fatal of gynecological cancers. In addition we want to support the women fighting ovarian cancer and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms and risks, so women are diagnosed earlier and join me as survivors. 

Every dollar our team raises supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to fund vital research, to provide support and educate women about the disease.
