Welcome to My Personal Page. As most of you know, my retirement gift was to find I have Ovarian Cancer, Stage III. Unfortunately, all info usually states that outcomes are statistically not great for people like me. There needs to be the same amount of energy and money put into Ovarian Cancer as has been in breast cancer so we can increase survival rates. Personally, I plan to ignore the statistics, live to my 80's at least, and try not to ever let fear enter me. It has worked for the most part, so far, as I continue on this path. But please join me in the walk physically or virtually, this September, The "new cure around the corner" would be great!
Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,000 will be diagnosed this year. It’s time to pick up the pace for ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and I’m determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.
By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
The next big breakthrough in ovarian cancer is around the corner. Please donate to my Walk now or sign up to join me because there simply isn’t time to wait. Together, we can improve outcomes – for good.
