I am walking in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. I participate each year because ovarian cancer affects many families in our community. It has certainly touched my life as a 48 year survivor and also through friends and family members who have been diagnosed with this disease.

This walk is special to me because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope for a future without this disease.

Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
