In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. Each of these women is central to a family, every one of these women have people who love her. It's certainly touched our lives, and we need to stop this quiet killer of women.

We are walking in memory of Lorette Kolla. After a five year battle with ovarian cancer, we lost an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend in 2013. She was the most wonderful person and she is missed each and everyday. We want to continue to walk in honour of her courage and strength that she showed while fighting this terrible disease. We participate in the walk every year in the hope that less families will lose wonderful women in their lives. We want to end ovarian cancer!

Every dollar our team raises supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
