Welcome to My Personal Page!
Hello,
In 2014 I lost my mother, Myrna, to Ovarian Cancer. This disease just keeps coming strong, and we need to find an early detection test for this cancer. This cancer takes way too many lives each year.
Watching my mother go through this cancer was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. She fought this disease with such class and she was even in remission for a couple of months, before the cancer came back. I remember having the conversation with her about 2 weeks before she passed, saying that she just couldn't fight anymore. This was such a hard thing for me to deal with, because my mother never gave up on anything, but she just couldn't do it anymore. It was a hard pill to swallow.
We miss her dearly, and will be walking for her, and the other amazing women fighting this disease, for the women who have survived this disease, and the women who sadly lost their lives to this disease.
This cancer has taken way too many women and we need to bring awareness to this disease.
If you want to support me, please donate, or come out and walk!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Meaghan
