On Sunday, September 8, I will be walking to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Canada. I have joined this walk on Sue’s Care Bear team in memory of our friend, Sue Christian, who died on August I2th.

Everyone born with ovaries is at risk for ovarian cancer. It is the most fatal women’s cancer. Approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year and the reality is that every 5 hours, a woman loses her life to ovarian cancer in Canada. 

Ovarian Cancer Canada funds research into early detection, treatment as well as supporting women dealing with a diagnosis.
