Dear Friends:

2024 -the Year of the Dragon. Meant to practice more for this but am using the wet, hot summer as an excuse. However, last year I was able to do the entire 5K and hope to do the same this year. Always great to walk with my friends in  "Margie's Gang" though. 

I am walking in memory of Margie Gass, a remarkable woman who left this life WAY too early. Margie was a Foreign Service officer who travelled around the world and raised three children with her husband. She had boundless energy and wonderful artistic ability as well as a kind heart. She worked tirelessly on behalf of Ovarian Cancer Canada in the Maritimes, even when she knew a cure would not come in time for her.
