Diane's Personal Page
Hi Everyone,
My sister Lydia was diagnosed in the summer of 2015 with ovarian cancer. Lydia lost her courageous battle in April of 2019. She was an admirable advocate for Ovarian Cancer Canada and we would like to continue what she started. We know she will be with us in spirit. Lydia would have wanted us to continue bringing awareness and to make every effort in raising monies in the search for a screening test and a cure for Ovarian cancer.Every woman living with Ovarian Cancer is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. I would like to support each of these ladies by joining the walk. The Walk celebrates the hope I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness, and fund vital research so that we can change the future for all the women living with ovarian cancer and those who will be diagnosed.
Please feel free to participate in any way you are able to. Making a donation or walking in your local area in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Sincerely,
Diane
