Welcome to My Ovarian Cancer Walk Page
Just a little over a year ago, my sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer.
This is a deadly, aggressive form of cancer.
My sister's first sign that something was wrong, was shortness of breath, and we all thought COVID at first.
The disease had already progressed to Stage 4, and despite many rounds of chemotherapy and extensive surgery, she kept losing ground. We are told we will have my sister with us only a matter of weeks now.
Approximately 3,100 women will be diagnosed this year with ovarian cancer. It's time to accelerate progress against this disease.
By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
The next big breakthrough in ovarian cancer is around the corner. Please donate to my Walk now or sign up to join me because there simply isn’t time to wait. Together, we can improve outcomes – for good.
Thank you for your support. It means the world to me, and everyone affected by this disease.
