Dear Family and Friends,

Ovarian cancer has deeply affected my family so I will be participating in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope on September 8, 2024 to raise funds for research and support initiatives across Canada.

After witnessing my mother struggle in her battle with ovarian cancer, I deeply hope that one day no other daughter or son experiences losing their parent or loved one in such a tragic way. I am also walking for myself and all the other previvors who are at high risk for developing breast and ovarian cancer.

Unlike most other cancers ovarian cancer doesn’t receive the funds it desperately needs for its research.
