It seems like every other day we hear of a friend living with ovarian cancer. Numbers seemed to have jumped since we started doing this Walk 12 years ago. It is a horrible disease, often not detected until it is far along and much work needs to be done in terms of research to detect and to treat it.

Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.

This Walk has always been special to me because it was so very close to Cindy's heart. She has been gone 11 years now but she is definitely not forgotten.
