Welcome to Donna's Personal Page
A Note from Donna’s Children:
We wanted to take this time to acknowledge and support our Mom in her efforts to raise awareness and funds for Ovarian Cancer in the 2022 Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope. As part of the Ladies of Resilience team, she exemplifies just that, resilience. She has navigated her own battle, with the same grace, strength, and determination she has always shown in her life.
From the jarring initial diagnosis through the treatments, surgery, and recovery, she has left us all in awe of her strength. It reminds us of the story of how our grandfather could tread water so proficiently that you would never know he was working vigorously under the calm surface. We know how difficult it has been, especially during the pandemic, we are thankful for the care she has received and so proud of her.
Her amazing spirit in the face of resilience and ability to express gratitude for the care and support she has received is a testament to the amazing woman she is. She is now asking for your support to help ensure other women have the hope and support they deserve through their own journeys with ovarian cancer. Thank you for your consideration in giving hope to women like our Mom.
We love you, Mom!
Let’s raise the teal flag and show our support for the women and families affected by ovarian cancer. Together, our fundraising and participation in the Walk will spur advocacy efforts to provide the best possible care, further scientific progress, and ensure that all those diagnosed know that they are not alone.
That’s why I’m joining the thousands of other participants at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope. Precious lives depend on it, and the community deserves it.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
Every step and every dollar create a brighter future for those affected by ovarian cancer. Please consider donating to my Walk or register to join me!
Thank you for your support. It means the world to me, and everyone affected by this disease.
