Please consider joining our team - Wendy's Warriors - as we walk in memory of my beautiful mom!

 In the fall of 2016 my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. With grace, she underwent extensive surgery and months of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2018, the cancer made its way back. This time my mom was offered the opportunity to be a part of a clinical trial which allowed her to live chemo free and with a great quality of life for nearly 9 months. It is because of fundraising efforts like the ovarian cancer walk of hope that this was even a possibility for my mom.  Unfortunately, chemotherapy became a reality again and this time the cancer would not abate. Our dear Wendy/Mom passed in March 2020.

My Mom found the walk empowering and so positive.  We will continue our tradition of walking in the ovarian cancer walk of hope in memory of our mom.
