She is a teacher. She is a hiker. She is a wife. She is a daughter. She is an auntie. She is a friend. She is Christa my Sista.

Hi, I’m Lindsey. 

My sister, Christa Svenson lived with ovarian cancer for four years until her passing on April 2, 2023.  

This will be the 5th year our family & friends will participate in the Walk of Hope. We walk in remembrance of her, and in celebration of her courage, positivity, and faith. We walk together to support all those Teal Sisters and unite our hope that one day there will be a cure.

Christa was never one to choose the spotlight but usually went about in her quiet way to bless others for good. In previous years she raised awareness and money for Ovarian Cancer Canada in an effort to contribute to support programs for women living with cancer and to fund research so that they could live fuller, longer lives.
