Dear Friends and Family,

As we enter our 19th year of participating in the Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC) Walk, I am reminded of the journey we've shared and the loved ones we've honored.

We first walked in memory of my sister-in-law Donna McGonigal, who we lost to this disease in 2006. Since then, our commitment has only grown stronger. We also walk in loving memory of my dear friend and colleague Gerta, who bravely fought ovarian cancer until 2018.

This year, we are walking with a new sense of urgency and solidarity for our lake friend Joan, who has recently been diagnosed and is currently battling ovarian cancer.

The OCC Walk of Hope will take place on Sunday, September 8th. We invite you to join us and support our team, "DONNA'S DIVAS."

Every dollar raised helps OCC, the only national charity dedicated solely to ovarian cancer. Your contributions will aid in providing support, increasing awareness, and funding crucial research to create a brighter future for women everywhere.
