Walk with our Family September 8 at 11:30 first arch by the dog park at Fisher Lakes in memory of our daughter Patricia Jarvis Macmillan/and my mother Kathleen Payne Duguay.
On July 9, 2019 our daughter Patricia Macmillan passed away from OVC. In Canada today, there are 17,000 women living with ovarian cancer. Each of these women is central to a family, every one of these women have people who love her. This year, I am walking for HER. This is for my daughter Patricia MacMillan who lost her battle but was always fighting to find new help for woman with Ovarian Cancer.
My mother Kathleen Payne Duguay also passed away in 1987 from Ovarian Cancer we are still fighting the fight for all these women.
I am walking because ovarian cancer affects communities. It’s certainly touched my life, and it needs to be stopped.
This walk is special to me because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope that I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity entirely dedicated to this important cause. Funds will be used to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
Please support my Walk by giving generously. Better yet, if you are up for a challenge this September, please consider joining me. Together we can make a diffence.
We walk for our daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and for my mom..
