Recently, my dear Mommy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, a cancer that is often detected late as there is no early screening test and little awareness. I am participating in and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope in Halifax this September and dedicating my participation to my beautiful Mom. I hope to help with funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fuelling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
