Team Triple Threat
Hi everyone !
This year my friends, family, and I are participating in the Ovarian Walk for Hope September 8th in downtown Burlington.
We are raising funds and awareness for Ovarian cancer in honour of my mom Susan Russell. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer early April/May and is undergoing chemotherapy. As some of you may know cancer is no stranger to her, unfortunately as she is a breast cancer warrior x2 and is now ready to kick ovarian cancers butt! She is a very loved mother, wife, sister, granny, mother in law, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many.We need to support her any way that we can.
To everyone that has already donated we cannot thank you enough for the support. It means the world to us
Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. It's time to accelerate progress against ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and our team is determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.
By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, we’re making ovarian cancer a priority. We’re funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
The next big breakthrough in ovarian cancer is around the corner. Please donate to our team or join us! We welcome new members, there’s strength in numbers! Together, we can improve outcomes – for good.
Thank you for your support. It means the world to us, and everyone affected by this disease.
