In January 2024 I received the biggest shock of my life, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I had no idea that my genetics had played a role in leading to this diagnosis, which had been gestating inside me for years. I am fortunate to be receiving amazing and unwavering support from family and friends. I'm also in the care of an incredible team at Princess Margaret Hospital. While my journey is still in motion with hills and hurdles still to overcome, I have made it this far with the incredible support of those around me.

If you weren't aware, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100, like me, will be diagnosed this year. I need your help to further advance ovarian cancer research and treatment options. Enough is enough and I’m determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.
