Welcome to my personal page!
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
We continue walking in memory of Cathy Di Fruscia, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She never gave up a fight, so we will keep fighting in her honour and all other women affected.
Cathy was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2016 and continued fighting her battle for six and a half years. Her strength was remarkable, along with her positive attitude. She was always willing to go through new, innovative treatments made possible from research and funding that stemmed from organizations such as this one. She shared her story with others, in hopes of helping women all over the world understand the disease.
We are eternally grateful for having had the additional time and memories with Cathy. Please continue to support Ovarian Cancer Canada to give other families the same and hopefully even better outcomes.
