Why I walk
In 2023 at the age of 36 I was diagnosed with stage 3C high grade ovarian serous carcinoma. This disease is rare in women my age and I want to share my story to raise awareness. After completing chemo at the end of March 2024, I unfortunately have relapsed and will be going through treatment again in the near future. Fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Canada is extremely important as these funds could lead to the next treatment I need in my long battle with this cancer.
By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.
The next big breakthrough in ovarian cancer is around the corner. Please donate to my Walk now or sign up to join me because there simply isn’t time to wait. Together, we can improve outcomes – for good.
Thank you for your support. It means the world to me, and everyone affected by this disease.
