When a member of a community is diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer it hits too close to home!!!
Me, Tanya MacDonald, my husband Tracey and young son Mitchell moved to Hampton in 1992. Shortly after our son Matt was born and then we welcomed our baby girl Julia in 1996. Our life revolved around our family, friends and community.
Read my story for how Ovarian Cancer turned our life upside down last year!

Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. It's time to accelerate progress against ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and our team is determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.

By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, we’re making ovarian cancer a priority. We’re funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.

Every dollar we raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity dedicated to overcoming this disease.

The next big breakthrough in ovarian cancer is around the corner. Please donate to our team or join us! We welcome new members, there’s strength in numbers! Together, we can improve outcomes – for good.

Thank you for your support. It means the world to us, and everyone affected by this disease.
