Mike and I will be doing Ovarian Cancer Canada's Walk of Hope once again. As both an ovarian and breast cancer survivor, I saw the vast differences in the treatment options, support and outcomes between the two types. Both are terrible, but ovarian cancer feels so far behind the advances that have been thankfully made with breast cancer.  

Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. It's time to accelerate progress against ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and I’m determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease, I've lost too many of my teal sisters!

 

By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, I’m making ovarian cancer a priority. I'm funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
