Thanks for supporting Tiff's Teal Team. It means so much to Tiffany and all the other teal sisters across Canada. 

Tiffany was diagnosed with a rare sub-type of ovarian cancer in 2018. 

She continues to thrive despite having active disease. There is no straightforward treatment for her type (Granulosa Cell Tumor). Over the past six years she has had three surgeries (one more on the way), six months of chemotherapy, and tried six different medications to eliminate this disease. So far, none of these have fully worked, but the current goal is find some disease stability or even better, NED (No Evidence of Disease). 

Tiffany is a proud member of the Ovarian Cancer Canada Patient Partners in Research team. This provides her the opportunity to speak from the patient's experience with researchers across the country. There is great change around the corner. 

Today, thousands of Canadians are living with ovarian cancer and approximately 3,100 will be diagnosed this year. It's time to accelerate progress against ovarian cancer. Enough is enough and our team is determined to improve outcomes for all those affected by the disease.

By participating and fundraising for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, we’re making ovarian cancer a priority. We’re funding vital research that will save lives, ensuring educational resources and support programs are available for those who need it, and fueling advocacy efforts because everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
